Needs of Girls and Young Women in the Open Child and Youth Work

Purpose of the analysis was to gather information on the needs of girls and young women for three exemplary social environments (Allach, Freimann, Schlachthofviertel and selected youth facilities) defined by the open child and youth work (OKJA). The intention was to find out whether there was a similar need for facilities like the Mädchentreff* Blumenau.

 

Methods |

  • Implementation of one focus group with each girls and young women of the respective social environment
  • Implementation of group discussions with professionals of the respective social environment
  • Content analysis of the group discussions and focus groups
