How risk communication and culture are intertwined is explained by Dr. Kerstin Dressel in her presentation at the Jade University of Applied Science Wilhelmshaven. She presented findings of a comparative study of five European countries in regard to vector-borne infections, conducted within the EDENext project. Kerstin Dressel, who is manager of the sine-Institute based at Munich, showed also how different perceptions can be explained by different risk cultures.
