Between June 27 and July 13, 2019, everything revolved around the topic of digitalization in the nutrition sector. Under the motto “Eating right – digital is real,” professionals at the symposium learned about the status and benefits of digitization at the various stages of the value chain, from agriculture and food production and processing to personalized nutrition and communal catering. Visitors were able to learn about the multifaceted topic of digitization in the nutrition and physical activity sectors at the Experience Day. The Bavarian offices for nutrition, agriculture and forestry also dedicated themselves to digitalization and invited visitors to participate in hands-on activities.

In addition, interested visitors received answers to the following questions from sensory research: What is the difference between smelling and tasting? How does color influence the perception of smell and taste? How does information influence what we taste and smell?
