Healthy and Fit for Everyday Life with Children

Main interest |

On behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry (StMELF), the Competence Center for Nutrition (KErn) provides conceptual and technical support for the “Healthy and fit in everyday life with children” educational program in the daycare setting. The educational programs are aimed at young families with children of kindergarten age and pursue the goal of supporting families in establishing and anchoring a healthy lifestyle in everyday life. Every kindergarten year, around 18,000 families with kindergarten children across Bavaria take part in 900 educational events organized by the Offices for Food, Agriculture and Forestry. The events are organized and supervised by professionally qualified and trained nutrition and exercise instructors.

A survey of the nutrition contact persons (APE) at the Offices for Food, Agriculture and Forestry will be used to evaluate these educational programs in terms of their effectiveness and implementation in practice.

 

Data collection and analysis |

  • Conception of an online questionnaire in close coordination with the client
  • Implementation of the online survey
  • Statistical and content-analytical evaluation and processing of the collected data, taking the questions into account
  • Implementation of focus groups
  • Content analysis evaluation of the focus groups
