Survey of Physicians in the District of Dillingen

With the “Health Regionsplus” concept, the Bavarian government aims to further improve medical care and prevention in Bavaria through regional networks. The district of Dillingen has been a Health Region Plus of the Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care (StMGP) since 2015 and, within this framework, is pursuing the goal of optimizing regional healthcare and healthcare provision and making it fit for the future. A central topic area is the safeguarding of regional medical care. In order to formulate and implement tailor-made packages of measures, doctors in the Dillingen Health Region Plus are to be actively involved in the process of sustainable planning for medical care in the region at an early stage. To this end, an online survey of around 200 registered doctors will be conducted. The results of this survey will then be used as the basis for supply planning.

SINE-Mandate |

The scope, content and methodology of the doctors’ survey in the district of Dillingen is based on the doctors’ survey in the Kulmbach Health Regionplus, which was designed, conducted and evaluated by the Süddeutsches Institut für empirische Sozialforschung e.V. (SINE) in 2020. In addition to an online survey, recommendations for action are to be formulated and sequenced as part of a roadmap process with doctors and key stakeholders in the Gesundheitsregionplus. The entire research process will take place in close coordination with the Dillingen District Office.

Data collection and analysis |

• The questionnaire is adapted to the district of Dillingen in close consultation with the client.
• The online questionnaire is programmed using an appropriate tool and subjected to a pre-test.
• The collected data is statistically processed and analyzed in terms of content, taking into account the questions.
• A workshop will be held with doctors and key stakeholders in the Dillingen health regionplus in order to develop short, medium and long-term recommendations for action and solutions.
