Improvement of Livability for Pituitary Disease Patients

Client: Max-Planck-Institut für Psychiatrie (2015-2016) | Area: Health Research

Methods |

  • Two focus groups were implemented with patients with pituitary disease (one focus group chaired by SINE, one focus group chaired by the MPI). Topics of the two focus groups were the ‘quality of life during the course of disease’ and ‘experiences and wishes regarding possibilities for intervention’ (subjective meaning of quality of life; main aspects that limit/improve the quality of life; the role of medical assistance in the context of improving quality of life; specific wishes/recommendations regarding the improvement of quality of life)
