The project aims to investigate how disinformation and misinformation on electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic (EMF) topics can be most effectively identified and refuted in the social media. These findings are to be incorporated into a communication concept that supports the BfS in its information work on EMF topics. Methodologically, the project is being carried out using literature research and social media analytics (qualitative and quantitative analysis methods) together with the Technical University of Munich and C3 (project coordination).
